about me

I graduated in 1994 with a Diploma in Visual Arts and Design and then spent quite a few years designing and creating jewellery.  After having children I wanted a change in direction and the long family history of women creating with fabric and thread made the shift to working with textiles and mixed media an obvious choice. Slow, hand stitching is a meditative activity that balances my busy family life.

My art practice is about exploring inner feelings, quiet ideas and blurring the lines between Art and Craft.

I also love drawing, reading and gardening.
